Cicada Weekend Night Market, Hua Hin

Cicada market is a weekend night market that operate from Friday to Sunday only. It is a special night market for me because it stands for Community of Identify Culture Arts and Dynamic Activities. No like other normal night market, the environment of Cicada market is clean, comfortable and a lot of food and artsy stuff. 
 

For the food area, there have provide many delicious Thai food and International food. By the way, there are no accept cash payment for buy the food. You need to purchase a strip of cash voucher from the booth which located at the entrance of the market. Please do note that the cash voucher only can use for purchase of foods and it can be refundable at the same booth of purchase cash voucher.

In the market, there have provide many tables and chairs for the visitors to enjoy their food in a nice environment. 

Besides, Cicada Market is a place where artists gather to showcase and selling their creations. At here, you can but some handmade arts and crafts as souvenir. Most of the seller/artists are young enterprising Thai entrepreneurs.

Inside the market, there have an amphitheater focuses on live entertainment performance by bands, dance troupes and theater groups. Visitors can enjoy the performance with a cold beer/ drink. It is a very interesting area, as you will see visitors communicate with live bands and clap hands following the beautiful melodies.

Enjoy and relax a good night at Cicada Weekend Night Market and it wouldn’t let you feel disappointed.

Hui Hin Railway station, Hua Hin

Hua Hin Railway Station which is the oldest railway station in Thailand. Moreover, it also holds the crown of “the most beautiful railway station” in Thailand. Till date, the railway services are still in operation and connecting Hua Hin with several locations. If case you are taking a train to from Bangkok to Hua Hin, here is where the departure for the train in Hua Hin. Although, it is the oldest railway station in Thailand, but it is still stunning beautiful, clean and well-maintained.

Hua Hin Railway Station is located in the centre of Hua Hin town at the Western end of Thanon Damnernkasem road. It is around 20 minutes walking from our guesthouse located in Naebkehardt Rd, Tambon Hua Hin.

The building is fully constructed in wood, painted boldly in yellow and red. It had become one of the famous and tourist attractions and had attract draws numerous of visitors to visit. It also is a famous landmark in Hua Hin.

For my suggestion, you can take a tuk tuk car to the railway station because it is dangerous walking on the street. I had spent 100Baht for tuk tuk car in the return way from Hua Hin Railway Station to the guesthouse.

Swiss Sheep Farm, Hua Hin

Hua Hin, Thailand

Hua Hin, which is located not far from Bangkok, Thailand. It is only 2 hours’ journey from Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok to Hua Hin. At Hua Hin, there have many beautiful beaches, water sports activities, historical temple, night market and much more. It is a good travel place for who love to explore and want to relax in the tropical atmosphere.

Swiss Sheep Farm

The first place when I visit Hua Hin is Swiss Sheep Farm. It is a recreation park located in North of Hua Hin. The view of the farm is nice and it is surrounded by mountain. According to the name of the farm, YES! There have many sheep inside the farm. I am also surprise there not only have sheep. There have horse, rabbits, duck, and Alpaca. 

You have a chance to feed the animal with a coupon which attached with entrance ticket. I had a bit afraid when I feed the sheep because they were rude to garb the grass from my hand. Beside, you also can pay extra 30 Baht (equal to RM 3.80) for a bottle of milk to feed the baby sheep.

For kids, the farm has provided some activities like ride the ponies, petting and feed the rabbits. By the way, these activities need to pay extra.

In the farm, there have a 3D art museum. Feel free to take some good photos with the beautiful 3D arts. And the excited thing is: It is including in the entrance ticket. You are not requiring to pay extra for the 3D art museum.

Tips for visit Swish Sheep Farm:

1.      Be careful when you feed the animals with grass. My hand was scratched by grass when I feed the sheep.

2.      The weather in Hua Hin is very hot. I suggest visit the farm in the morning or evening.

This is the billboard that show the different tourism attractions that provide tourist to visit. There are different activities that tourist can join to have their entertainment in Shuiyuewan.  In the billboard, it also shows the map to tourist in order can know the direction for the places.       

 

Shuiyuewan is known as the Wanlu Lake Shuiyuewan Aquatic Recreation Center. It is a tourist area with hydrophilic swimming and water recreation. It is a good place for tourist to have entertainment and holiday. Shuiyuewan is also known as the most beautiful island in Wanlu. By watching the spectacular views over the blue of the lake can relax the tired feeling. This can make tourists feel refreshed that can enjoy the passion and leisure.

Canton Tower 

Canton Tower with the nicknamed of small waist is the tallest tower in China and the second tallest tower in the world. It also is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. It is amazing because it will show different colour and it was very beautiful with the great effect especially at night when tourists shipped that area. Tourists can enjoy the ship with the sea breeze while enjoy beautiful scenery. There were many people crowded that to enjoy the the good moments with beautiful night scene. 

China’s beautiful sights are adorned with sparkling stars, which make people deeply intoxicated. It is very suitable for night out, not only to blow the sea breeze, but also can gather together to enjoy this journey. It is a rare opportunity. It is the recommended scenery spot for the tourists who want to tour in China.

Lingnan Impression Park

It is located in the Guangzhou University City. It became one of the tourist attraction that integrates sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, catering, shopping and etc. This is one of the place that I like the most because it has profound folk culture with this featured streets. 

At here, it makes me feel embedded in retro and ancient scenes with blue brick grey tile. When I walk along the retro street, I have saw a lot of pedestrians and the street surrounded by a lively atmosphere. On the street, a small bridge and flowing water are built to make the whole street vivid. 

The old cinema is decorated based on the old-fashioned cinema with the old- fashioned projected and white browed screen. It could be the chance to tourists to watch the old movie to experience of the early life.

Impression Starry Sky Hall

The next destination is impression starry sky hall. Inside the indoors, there is an architectural model that consisting of many light lines, and the flowers are surrounded by lights. The indoors become beautiful and attractive. Many tourists are taking pictures including me because I am being infected by this beautiful scene as it is very distinctive and creative.

Next, they also provide tunnels for passengers to enjoy through the tunnel. This tunnel is presented by 3D. It looks very real and amazing. It is just as realistic and cool, giving visitors a sense of immersive. I feel the infinite wonder of art when I went through the tunnels and become more excited because it is the first time I experience it.

Longguizhai waterfall

Longguizhai waterfall is located in Fengshun Country Soup pit town it is the second highest elevation of Buddha Mountain. In the distance looking at the waterfall, the clear water plunges down from the cliffs and went straight to the deep pool that bringing the water vapour. It is very cool and fresh when I standing under the waterfall especially the wind blew in the mountains and it like the smoke. Therefore, the magnificent scenery of Longguizhai Waterfall is magnificent and amazing.

Besides, tourists can enjoy the beautiful charming views with the stream.  Look at the water flowing down the rocks, the waves are ripping, calm, beautiful and fascinating.

Demonstration Base of City Sculpture Art

In Meizhou city, there have a lot of sculpture. The was the European architecture and a theme sculpture group that reflects the love of men and women. The wedding theme park dominated by Western-style sculptures and is the spiritual home of romantics. The couple standing under the tree lyrical. I am being attracted by this sculpture because it shows me a deep relationship. 

The parents’ love toward their child just as holding a new life and going to the long road of life. It  touching me because all the child is treasure by their parents. Therefore, as a child, I must appreciate the contributions of my parents and respect them forever.  

Peng’s Ancestral Hall

Peng Ancestral Halls is located in Hong Kong’s New Territories North, Fanling, Fanling Wai North will Village, New Territories, five families Peng’s family shrine, the annual two days of February, Penh Chun Ji clan ceremony will be held in the hall, worship ancient ancestors. Two sides of the main entrance and adorned with the red couplet which embodies the good wishes of the Peng clan’s auspiciousness, happiness and prosperity. 

 

All the spiritual position of ancestors will be placed in the same ancestral hall as long as they have same surname which is “Peng.” During that day, we go to the ancestral hall and worship our ancestors since our ancestors are come from China. Worshiping ancestors is to show our respect to them. This is a golden opportunity to us because this is rare travel to China.

The WAY to go Penang!

There have many ways to go Penang. For me, KTM ETS journey is more suitable to have a relax and comfortable way from Kuala Lumpur to Penang. It is because ‘ETS’ electronic trains can make the journey in a safe and comfortable way in less than four hours compare to bus or car.

There have 4 times of ETS trains every day that leave KL and head to Penang Butterworth. The train which I was boarded is 11:30 am departure at KL Sentral. The ticket cost me RM79.00 including a snack pack and a bottle of soya milk.  Be careful you need to board train 15 minutes before the departure time.

Inside the train, the seats were comfortable and reclined compare to aircraft. There has a power socket for each seat and it located underneath the seats. I was enjoying 2 movies on the train with my laptop and no need worry for the battery power in 4 hours’ journey. By the way, remember to put on your coat because the power of aircond was very strong. 

In addition, there is a café aboard the train where you can purchase some snacks and drinks to eat back at your seat. There also has a clean toilet in each deck.

When you are arrived Butterworth, keep to your left after leaving the platform and follow the covered walkway up a slope. You need to walk for around 10 minutes to take ferry to Penang Island. The price of ferry ticket is RM1.20. It is only 20 minutes’ journey from Butterworth to Penang Island.

Kukup

Kukup is a small fishing village in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia. Kukup become prosperous because it became the important trading port because there got a lot of boats and ships will stop there. Kukup is the largest uninhabited mangroves in the world and situated in Johor and became one of the national park. Therefore, it also become one of the tourism destination to travel and take holiday.

At here, I able to enjoy myself with the beautiful scenery in Kukup. There was a bridge provided to tourists to enjoy the natural scenery and views. With a beautiful view, I initially take photograph because take the photo with natural nature will have beautiful effects. I walk along among the mangroves and see many plants in the seaside rock. The place is quite rich in bird ecology with the beautiful scenery therefore I enjoy ecological beauty of the estuary in Kukup.

Moreover, there was a popular and beautiful scenic suspension bridge straddles Sungai Ular and it spans 30 m across in the park. Tourists can try to walk on the suspension bridge with a tense and exciting feeling. From the middle of suspension bridge, tourists can appreciate the rustic beauty of Kukup village on the mainland and the red jetty. Tourists who travel in Kukup can enjoy the suspension bridge because it can be a worthwhile experience.

At the seaside,  I can see the whole vast sea and the breeze gently hits the waves. When I standing on the rock, the seawater keep fluctuations and spraying on the rocks. I like this feeling because when came to the seaside is fun and can enjoy the sea breeze to make better mood. Therefore, it is very suitable to take the holiday to enjoy the good times.

I also visited the Floating Fish Farm in the middle of the sea and it is near from the jetty. I need to walk on the narrow floating wood planks that were built around the fish farm so I would be able to see the cages in the water with many types of fishes. After that, I shop the stall that sell a lot of seafood and even shop the stall to buy the souvenirs at cheaper price.  

After that, my family and I enjoy the local seafood meals in the restaurant when travel in Kukup because of the seafood especially the crabs and prawns is very fresh because it is catching up from the sea and the price is very reasonable. This will be the good experience to visit Kukup.
