Chew Jetty, Penang, Malaysia

Chew Jetty, or Sneah Chew Kio in Penang Hokkien, which is the biggest of the waterfront settlements in George Town, Penang. It was created in the middle of the 19th Century. Chew Jetty is a touristy spot where you could see some of the wooden houses transformed into shops selling souvenirs and eateries. One of the factors contributing to the popularity of the Chew Jetty was due to the movie of Ice Kacang Puppy Love.

Inside the Chew Jetty, there have a lot of booth selling snack, ice cream, beverage and also special souvenirs about the Chew Jetty and Penang.

Besides, the IMPORTANT things to note before you entry into Chew Jetty are: stick to the main passageway, no trespassing into the houses as many were homes, do keep your volume down and no litter.

Inside the Chew Jetty, there have a special restaurant selling big bowl Ramen! Order a big bowl of Ramen can  sharing with 4 people.
